Season 2 of Hakuoki was really good. For some reason, it was hard to find though so I ended up buying the DVDs of the whole series.
Story
The second season of Hakuoki is about the boys fighting in a war. They even learn how to use guns and cut their hair. Everything seems fine until the latter half of the season. This is one of the saddest anime I have ever seen.
Characters
The characters are the same as the first season. There is a lot more character development though.
Sound/Animation
I really liked the opening and ending of this show. The animation was good as well.
Verdict
This season was good even though the ending was sad. I will give this season a 9 out of 10.
