Based off the second season of the anime.
Story
The story is just like season 2. I did liked the movie better though since not everyone dies in it like the anime.
Characters
The same characters that are in season 2 are in the movie. Chizuru is back again with Hijikata and she stays with him while most of the other characters die.
Sound/Animation
I loved the songs and animation in this movie.
Verdict
I really liked this movie and give it an 8 out of 10.
