I finally finished the first season of Fruit Basket 2019! I also started watching the second season so look forward to a review of that!
Story
The story is about a girl who meets guys that can turn into animals. The animals that they turn into are all apart of the Chinese zodiac, including the cat. She then learns things that she wasn’t supposed to know.
Characters
Toru is the main character and she meets most of the zodiac characters, most are boys. There is more character development in this show compared to the older version as well.
Sound/Animation
I really liked the songs on this show. The animation is better than the original as well.
Verdict
I really liked this new version of Fruits Basket and will give this show an 8.5 out of 10.
