My Review of Flip Flappers

Flip Flappers was made in October 2016 and became famous for its originality compared to other anime. This show took the magical girl genre into a whole new meaning. The show does start out slow though but gets better in the middle.

Story

The story of Flip Flappers is very confusing with many twists and turns. The main point is about two girls that become best friends and also both have magic powers, search for shards in different worlds so that in the end they could be granted a wish. This is what happens for the first part of the series until things start to happen and the past is revealed.

Charaters

The characters are all unique with different styles and motives. The main characters themselves are total opposites but still become the best of friends. Even the villein in the series is a unique character and makes it hard to realize how evil she truly is.

Sound and Animation

The animation was different than usual, but that is one of the things that make the show unique. Also, in every world they go to, there will be a different animation style for that world, like sometimes they could be wearing cat ears and tails or one of them turns into a boy. The music was ok, I never liked the ending but the opening was good.

Verdict

Flip Flappers is a show that I would recommend for the many plot twists and animation. I have always liked magical girl series and this might not be the best one, its defiantly not the worst either. If you like magical girls or a complex story, give Flip Flappers a try.
